Our client a leader in the insurance industry is seeking a highly motivated, self-starter to join their sales team. The organization specializes in servicing small businesses in New York State with Workers compensation insurance policies. This opportunity in inside sales offers unlimited growth within the organization and is the career path to an outside sales position. Essential job functions are: Generating phone calls to business owners to explore insurance needs and promote and sell our clients workers compensation policies. State of the art sales training provided with qualified leads supplied through a vast network in the insurance industry and outside sales staff.

Responsibilities: Requirements: A 4 year college degree and six months prior inside sales experience in the entire sales cycle is required including prospecting and closing the sale. Our client offers a base salary plus commission and a generous benefits package. You must hold or be willing to obtain a NYS Insurance License to be eligible for this position. Base in range of low 30's plus commission. First year anticipated salary to be in the 40's range. This opportunity in sales offers unlimited upward mobility within the organization. Our client is a well respected supplier in the following industries: Semi-Conductor, Nuclear, Energy and Alternative Fuel Market. Essential functions include proven ability to develop customer relationships and communicate at all levels of the business structure including generating leads and following up on referrals to set appointments with prospective clients, present product line and close the sale. Strong organizational skills needed to work well within a team to manage Rochester territory with flexibility to change roles as territory is developed.
